Scott has played Buddy in over 1400 concert performances over the last 7 years and known as the formost Buddy Holly tribute artist in the world, recieving praise from Buddy's family & friends like Peggy Sue Gerron (The Peggy Sue), Maria Elena Holly (Buddy's Widow) and Bob Montgomery (Buddy's first band partner, Buddy & Bob) just to name a few.

The station group helps to look after the station and is made up of volunteers, all of whom work on the railway in one way or another - from Booking Clerks & Station Foremen, to Catering Staff and our dedicated Gardening and Maintenance team.

Steam trains run by the The North Yorkshire Moors Railway operate from Goathland to Pickering and Grosmont, with regular services running through to Whitby during the main season.

Goathland has also become famous for its film and television appearances, most famously as 'Hogsmeade' in the Harry Potter films and as 'Aidensfield' in ITV's 'Heartbeat' series.
